Fescue Grass
The sod form of fescue are the turf type fescues, a finer textured type when compared to the tall fescue. It's a bunch-type species. It will do well in the transition areas of the south. In mild winters, it can provide year round color, one reason it is becoming so popular in the commercial landscape. It will suffer in the summer with both heat and disease problems, needing reseeding annually to maintain its density.
Elite Tall Fescue sod
Elite Tall Fescue turfgrass is produced from a combination of the finest and newest tall fescue selections. It is a cool season turfgrass with superior disease and pest resistance and is the most shade-tolerant of turf grasses. Elite Tall Fescue produces a dark green medium-textured turfgrass which provides an excellently green-colored lawn year round! RECOMMENDED mowing height is 2 - 3 inches, in summer 3 - 4 inches

Bermuda Tifway 419
There are 3 types Bermuda grass
Type of sod Bermuda grass is one of the most popular of the warm season grasses. Bermuda requires less water than most turf grasses and is very tolerent to foot traffic. Bermuda is an excellent choice for full-sun areas. It is completely shade intolerant, however, and must be planted in areas that will always have 100% sun. Bermuda grass can be easily planted from grass seed, sod or grass plugs. Bermudagrass is planted for beautiful, durable grass lawns, nutritious and traffic tolerant sports turf, golf courses, athletic fields, and more.
First type is Tifway 419
Tifway 419 Bermuda has been the most popular Bermuda turf for the last 40 years. Tifway's density and quick recovery from injury makes it one of the most durable bermudagrasses available. For use on residential and commercial sites, sports fields, golf course roughs and fairways. Tifway 419 offers toughness and beauty in a dense, disease resistant, dark green color.

It has a dark green color, forms a dense turf, and tolerates heavy use, low temperatures, and drought stress very well. A sterile tripold with Midiron cold hardiness with the texture and color of Tifway 419. It has superior cold hardiness and mole cricket nonpreference.

Bermuda TifGrand
Information about TifGrand
TifGrandTifGrand Bermuda is the first sterile triploid Bermuda to exhibit significant shade tolerance compared to other Bermudagrasses. TifGrand has superior quality in full sun and shaded areas. TifGrand has excellent insect resistance and fewer seedheads than other varieties. TifGrand is darker green than other Bermuda varieties such as Tifway or TifSport. Superior insect resistance, fewer seedheads and and attractive dark green color make it beautiful and easy to maintain.

Zenith Zoysia
There are 3 types of Zoysia
Zoysia Grass
A dense high quality turf. They have both rhizomes and stolons, but have a slow growth rate. Zoysia grasses have excellent heat and drought resistance. Shade tolerance is fair to good. Southern Sod sell and installs Zenith, Empire and Zeon.
Zenith® Zoysia Zenith is a warm-season turfgrass which is a great replacement for Tall Fescue due to the wider leaf blades that resemble Tall Fescue more than any other zoysia. Zenith is commonly used in both commercial and residential landscapes, sport fields, golf courses, roadsides, and medians.

Zeon®
Information about Zeon®
Zeon®
Zeon® was developed to provide a superior fine bladed zoysia, with increased shade tolerance, low thatch production and proved traffic tolerance. Zeon's extensive root system produces a thick compact turf that recovers quickly from injury. Zeon is sold only as a certified zoysia. A fine textured grass similar to Emerald, however it has exhibited a superior quality due to its lack of thatch build up and its ability to be mowed with a rotary mower. Zeon has a bright green color and fine blade. It is the "barefoot" grass.
