 A: All varieties are shipped with 504 SQ Ft per pallet except  Zoysia which is shipped in 450 SQ Ft.

A: Sod can be installed year-round as long as the sod is available. It can even be installed on frozen ground.

A:  Schedule a booking with us and we will do all prepping/installing/ordering sod with a farm to get the highest quality sod the world can offer for you! 

A: After 24 hours the sod will begin to yellow and wither.  Sod can live up to 5 days without water on a pallets. 

A:  you can hire us to take care of your lawn year round. We can also take care of your weed control and fertilizer 

A: Early morning or early evening usually provides less wind and heat than mid-day hours. These times also allow for more absorption because there is less chance of evaporation.

A: Certain area we do less then 3 pallets, but we charge extra 

A: Yes, we have a three-pallet minimum. All sod is shipped from the farm to your location.  We do not have a lot for sod pickup.

A: Your sod needs about an inch of water per day for the first two to three weeks. NE Georgia is mostly clay or clay loam. Absorption rate in our soils is slower than many other areas. Therefore it may take longer than other areas to get the proper amount of water in the ground to allow for a healthy root system. The topsoil should be moist but not soggy. Sticking your finger between seams will give you a good idea of absorption rate.

You can estimate the amount of water supplied by your irrigation system by using a little math. Place a few flat bottom square or rectangular pans around in various places in your lawn. Let the system run about 30 minutes and check the amount of water collected in the pans. If you begin to see run-off before you collect the proper amount, cut back and water more frequently. Too much water run-off only removes the nutrients your new sod needs to establish a good root system. FAQ

A: Allow 30 days for firm root growth before mowing. Mow frequently (once rooted) with a sharp blade and never remove more than 1 /3 of the blade at one time.
